I am dedicated to improving my teaching abilities and effectiveness. I believe in providing students with quantitative-based, problem solving skills that will benefit them in their post-graduation career. I am always looking for ways to incorporate new ideas and methods that will help prepare my students for the every changing demands of the job market.
At Shepherd, I teach intro-level economics courses and have developed electives in Applied Econometrics, Environmental and Resource Economics, and Game Theory. I am currently developing an Economic Policy Analysis course focused on data analysis and visualization and policy-oriented writing (hopefully serving as a bridge between introductory statistics and econometrics).
As a graduate student at Penn State, I served as an instructor for both online and traditional courses as well as a TA for various undergraduate and graduate courses.
