The Kentucky Appaloosa Owners Association has established a special committee to review all member-submitted rule and bylaw changes. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of our program. Submission deadline is April 11th, 2026. There are several ways to submit your proposals to Committee Chair, Chelsea Bowen.

*Submissions for proposals MUST include:
Name of the current KApOA member making the proposal.
The referenced program rule or bylaw being addressed.

You must have your horse judged and the completed judging form turned in to be eligible for trail awards.

November 16, 2025, Sunday - Green River State Park 10:00 Eastern time

Please take a moment to read the guidelines for the Current Incentive Fund Participation.
Starting in 2021, mares must be nominated by Dec. 31st of the breeding year in order for foals to qualify for the weanling futurity.

SOME BOOKEEPING REMINDERS:
1) MEMBERSHIP MUST BE PAID BEFORE YOUR TRAIL HOURS WILL COUNT.
2) SHOW DIVISION MEMBERSHIP MUST BE PAID BY JUNE 1 FOR THE OPEN AND REGIONAL SHOW POINTS TO COUNT.
