Denys Corbet

Denys Corbet wrote an epic poem several thousand words long. It has been quoted widely throught the channel isles, Normandy and Brittany but was never translated.    It is full of humorous stories, tragedies, history and characters from the early 19th Century.  It was written in Guernsey french and laments the dwindling language while evaluating all the changes on the island.  Ken spent years translating this poem and presently it is being checked with the view of finally bringing it into print for all to read.
