We'll spend the majority of the long period looking over the quiz in detail. Several very good test taking strategies were used, but more can't hurt. Upload your brain, draw important angles in a standard position, label sides of triangles with signed lengths, etc. We'll have a short activity in which your group measures the angle of elevation or depression of the stairway. Otherwise, we'll try more of the more difficult homework problems. Be sure to be thinking up your own application problem over the weekend.

Homework

Finish everything from section 2.4.

Write an application problem using right triangle trigonometry. It can be from the internet, one like we’ve done in class or like one on the homework, but it can’t be identical to one in class, in the reading, or on the homework. Then solve your problem. On Monday the people in your group will work your problem
