So far you have usually "solved" triangles by finding the length of unknown sides. Today we will look at how to solve for unknown angles by using the inverse trigonometric functions like tan-1(x). We'll make sure you know which calculator buttons to press. Time permitting, we'll take a practice test in preparation for a real quiz on Monday or Tuesday. Chapter 1 homework has been "graded" and will be returned.

Those to have math on Thursday will have an assembly schedule. The teacher has second lunch, so that means third period math students do as well.

Take a look at the Google from from 8/16.

Complete anything unfinished/revised from sections 1.3-2.3.

Read 2.4, including what you might need to know for problems 1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 15.
