READING GUIDE For the KBR1/R2 Program

It is important to stress that there is no agreed required reading list for this examination (KBR1/R2 Exam).

Remember that the syllabus is provided to indicate the areas of knowledge, which are expected of candidates. While it is not intended to be exhaustive or to exclude other topics, that may be of similar relevance to clinical dental practice, you should use the syllabus as your basic reading guide.

Looking at the list of topics covered in the three main sections of the syllabus,  the Sections cannot be weighted equally in the assessments. This guide gives several textbooks, that are appropriate for the different sections of the syllabus, and there is a wide variety of choices. In studying such books to prepare for the examination, use the syllabus to guide you toward the most relevant chapters.
