I chose to dedicate my life to research and education as a means of societal progress and conservation. That decision has taken me on an unexpected but amazing journey from New York City to Texas, and now the west coast. I am looking forward to where I may land next. I enjoy collecting insects and rocks, live music, playing cello, dancing, reading, and sewing.
