Launch into Multiplication

Every other year, the third & fourth graders build model rockets by learning their multiplication tables. Each time they pass a multiplication test, students earn a new piece for their rocket. Throughout the school year, students assemble pieces they have earned.. In the spring, everyone who has completed their multiplication tables launches their rocket. In the process, they also earn their Pathfinder model rocketry honor. The supplies for 2013 and 2015 were purchased using funds from a National Association of Rocketry education grant.
