Geothermal systems

Geothermal systems

Our objective is to improve our detailed understanding of fluid pressure propagation and heat transport in stimulated fracture networks before and after high pressure stimulation and under circulation conditions. The primary focus is on the development of new imaging methods based on transient pressure tests and adapted for the characterization of crystalline rock geothermal reservoirs. We also focus on characterization of heat exchanging efficiency of the stimulated fracture network. Finally, we seek for a new methods adapted for characterization of permanent changes in flow and thermal structures induced by the stimulation process.
