I am an applied microeconomist with experience in academia & international organizations. I have taught in EU & Asian universities, and have experience in designing new courses for students in economics, business, and public policy. To gain policy-making experience, I recently spent a few years at the United Nations (UN).
My research focuses on the behavioural economics of sustainable development. I test game theoretical predictions using data from behavioural experiments (laboratory & field) & surveys (interviews & survey experiments). As principal investigator, I have led multi-disciplinary teams in conducting fieldwork in Sub-Saharan Africa & Southeast Asia. My papers have been published in European Economic Review, Journal of Economic Dynamics & Control, Computational Statistics, and Journal of Behavioral & Experimental Economics. I have won external grants from the Wallenberg Foundation-Sweden & the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
