The 2026 KLA LIRT Retreat will be held at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY.  The retreat will be held on the 3rd floor of Crabbe Main Library in the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning.

Getting to Eastern Kentucky University Libraries

The address for EKU University Libraries is 583 University Dr, Richmond, KY 40475. 

• From I-75 North: take exit 87, turn left onto EKU Bypass; turn left onto Lancaster Avenue; turn right onto University Drive (there is no light at the intersection of Lancaster and University). 

• From I-75 South: take exit 87, turn right onto EKU Bypass; turn left onto Lancaster Avenue; turn right onto University Drive (there is no light at the intersection of Lancaster and University).

The library is the second cluster of buildings on your right as you enter University Drive. A beautiful, very old brick building with elaborate windows anchors the front corner of the Libraries Complex.  The entrance to the library is set back from the street, off the little grassy area and where the large glass window begins.

Parking for the LIRT Retreat

Lancaster Lot is located off Lancaster Ave. across from University Drive. There is an accessible pedway to cross Lancaster Ave. to University Drive.  This lot has approved by EKU Parking and Transportation as the lot to use for the LIRT Retreat. Parking elsewhere could result in ticketing or being towed. Avoid parking in any Reserved spots, even within Lancaster Lot.
