LIRT Service Projects give back to our professional community and foster engagement with LIRT beyond the annual Retreat in order to build a sense of community around our shared information literacy goals. Service Projects are designed to encourage members of this Round Table to interact and network more throughout the year. Think about the ideas you’ve been tossing around in your mind about what you can do to make LIRT better. For example, Instruction Round Table of the Minnesota Library Association created the “23 Framework Things”--a self-paced program encourages participants to read, reflect, and respond to prompts and big questions surrounding the implementation of the Framework at their institutions.
Send us your ideas (nothing is too big or too small). If you have an idea, but aren’t sure how to implement it, that’s okay too. We can set you up with other interested LIRT members. Members can propose professional service projects on the LIRT webpage.
