I am currently associate professor of Department of Human Mechanical and Bioengineering at Ewha Womans University. Before joining Ewha Womans University, I worked as Principal Researcher at Center for Artificial Intelligence of KIST from 2018 to 2026.

Research Interests

I am interested in robot motion planning/control, machine learning and physical AI. One can classify planning algorithms into two broad categories. The first one is graph-search based motion planning over discretized configuration spaces. The other class of algorithms is optimal control based methods. I think both algorithms have pros and cons. So, I am interested in developing hybrid motion planning algorithm of merging these two methods.
