KillWare Disk Signing

(purportedly the first ebook disk-signing in the non-virtual world!)

The disk signing at Checkers Espresso and Gallery was great. Thanks go to the nearly one hundred people who turned out and consumed all the coffee and deserts. Special thanks go to Jim Wise, proprietor of Checkers, and to Brian Lane, President of KPLUG (Kitsap Peninsula Linux User Group), who was there with his beloved Linux box, gromit, displaying a copy of KillWare.

Publishing History:

When virtuabooks.com went out of business 4 August 2000, KillWare was the best-selling ebook on the website. Then KillWare was available through legendary ebook publisher booklocker.com until December 2003. Now, KillWare and The Wastes have been picked up by ArcheBooks Publishing and are available both as ebooks and in hardcover.
