Current Courses
Intermediate Mathematics
This is a second course in engineering mathematics.
Previous Courses
(Fall 2021) The circle method and arithmetic harmonic analysis
This is an advanced course in analytic number theory and harmonic analysis for the Taught Course Centre network.
(Fall 2019) Introduction to analysis
This graduate course is an introduction to analysis for graduate students in analysis, probability, ergodic theory and geometry. There will be a bit of overlap with my Spring 2019 course on harmonic analysis below.
(Spring 2019) An Ode to Stein: N lectures on the basics of harmonic analysis
This is an introductory graduate course covering the basic tools and theorems of Euclidean harmonic analysis.
(Spring 2015) Galois Theory (MATH10080)
In the spring semester of 2015, I taught the fourth year algebra course in Galois Theory at the University of Edinburgh. On the webpage you can find notes, slides, homework (assessments) for the course. If you have any feedback, please contact me.
Past Seminars
(Spring 2016) Decoupling seminar
In the Spring of 2016, I ran a seminar on the recent work of Bourgain--Demeter and Bourgain--Demeter--Guth on decoupling and Vinogradov's mean value theorems. Please see the webpage for more details.
(Spring 2015) Categorical analysis seminar
I organized a seminar on magnitude and its connections with analysis. We discussed Tom Leinster's work and recent work of Carbery and Barcelo which found counterexamples to a conjecture of Leinster--Willerton. I do not have notes from these seminars.
