I was born in the Himalayan Kingdom of Nepal, the land of Mt. Everest, the birthplace of Lord of Peace, Gautama Buddha, and the beautiful landlocked sovereign country located in South Asia. I received my school level education from "Sigana Higher Secondary School" and Bachelor and Master in Science Degree from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. I received first Master Degree in Physics and Material Science from the Tribhuvan University in 2003. I held physics lecturer position from 2003 to 2007 at various top colleges: Intensive International Academy, Gyankunj college and St.Xavier's college, Kathmandu, Nepal. I taught a wide range of high school and undergraduate physics courses.
Currently I am working as an instructor of physics in the Division of Science, Environment and Policy at the California State University, Monterey Bay. I have taught Physical Sciences (PHYS 121/PHYS 121L), Physics for Biologist (PHYS 150/PHYS 150L), Physics I (PHYS 220/PHYS 220L) and Physics II (PHYS 221/221L).
I came to USA, in August 2007 for the graduate study in Physics. I received my second Master degree in theoretical physics from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hattiesburg, Mississippi in August 2008. I joined in Applied Physics program at the University of South Florida Tampa, Florida in August 2008 to pursue my Doctoral Degree in Physics. I worked under the supervision of Professor Donald T. Haynie at the Department of Physics. I received Doctoral degree (PhD) in applied biophysics in August 2013. My Doctoral dissertation is "Electrospinning and physical characterization of electrospun polypeptide-based nanofibers". Detail research work can be found in Research section.
