FROM THE PRESIDENT'S DESK

Hi all and welcome to this exciting part of the Eagles web site and many thanks to Richard Carpenter for setting this up.

So I will I'll give you some information on the club especially if you are new member and if you are, then we welcome you.

25 Years

2019 will mark the 25th year this golf club has existed.

It's a great achievement considering that this is a social club, and it is the members which have supported this club over that time today.

We are proud of this achievement and hope that we do have many more years ahead.

Please come to Coomoora Cricket Club on the 8th of December 2019 to celebrate this event. All past and present day players are welcome.

History

A bit of history of the Eagles Social Golf Club.

The club has now been around for 25 years and it all started way back in a bar by a few guys that said, "Lets play golf and we will make it once a month" so it then escalated to the Keysborough Eagles Social Golf Club all those years ago with around 80 members and that was in 1994 Unfortunately today its dwindled to around 40 however, we still remain strong and enjoy our golf. The Championship is held each year with a 3 day trip that the committee organizes.

As you may know by now we do play once a month at different course, and reside back at the Keysborough Tennis club where we have been for some 17 years. Yes some of us still play Tennis

I'm not going to give the full story I'll get one of the foundation member to give me a brief and I'll apply it to a special page.
