My name is Kerry Chandler. I grew up in Conroe, Texas and graduated from Conroe High in 2001. I attended Texas A&M University in College Station, where I received a B.A. in History with an English minor, then went on to get my M.A. in History at Texas State University in San Marcos. I've been teaching since 2007. I've taught 7th, 8th, 9th, and 11th grade. I currently teach 11th grade U.S. History and Dual Credit U.S. History at Conroe High School. I'm also an adjunct professor at Lonestar College where I teach freshman level history classes.
I've been a big computer nerd since I was about 13 years old. Throughout high school and college, I held various tech-related jobs such as web-designer, lab administrator, and computer repairman. As a teacher, I've taught professional developments on using technology in the classroom, particularly in regards to Student Owned Devices. In my personal time, I play a lot of video games and have built and rebuilt several computers.
