Journalist
Initially Ee Sanje... Then a new trial of Kannada journalism Karnataka News Net. After that, Janavahini is the first colorful newspaper in Kannada journalism. In 2002 joined Vijaya Karnataka. Then on, my career took another form. I have been started identified as Kere Manjunath from R. Manjunath. This is where the Investigative Reports chapter opens. After 2012, more pages of political and investigative reports were unveiled with greater responsibility in Kannada Prabha. Since 2016, I am with Prajavani. Water, Environment, Urban Development articles are joining the pages of my media chapters.
My grandfather Nanjappa used to tell me about the lakes when we lived in Aralpetpet, Belagaluru. I was still three-four years old. I remember when I was traveling in a BTS bus with my grandmother Puttabasamma in the 1980. She used to show the lakes, and telling that, ‘Alnodu kere’. That time i didn’t know the significance of the lakes. By the time it was realized, the lakes had become extinct. During the school days in Rajajinagar, I saw the lakes of Shivanahalli and Agrahara Dasarahalli gradually becoming muddy. The lakes that are the source of drinking are on the brink of extinction today. Unless lakes remain, it is very difficult to remain green. If we do not preserve the remaining lakes now, it is time for our next generation to show the pools in pictures. It should not become reality.
This is a gift we will pass on to
future generations...
