CLASSROOM BUDGET

            For this school year I am asking for $9,000 in my classroom budget plan.  As you can see in the attached table, I am trying to incorporate technology whenever possible.  I feel as if technology is a window to opportunity for students, and the best way to start this is to get new technology into the classroom.  For most of these items, only a one-time cost is necessary for a great year full of wonderful learning experiences.  Other than the technology pieces, I am asking for an area rug so that I can help build a community feeling in my classroom.  Having an area rug provides a place for us to come together as a group and communicate our knowledge, thoughts, and ideas freely.  The final portion of the budget is left open for other items that I may need throughout the course of the school year.  This would include refills/ replacement items, fieldtrip costs, transportation costs, and other things that may need to be purchased for activities during the year.  I truly believe that my requests are reasonable and will only benefit my students in the most positive way possible.
