In 2021, the Village of Fishkill Board of Trustees made changes to its Comprehensive Plan. The new plan is not available to the public.

Also in 2021, the Board of Trustees unanimously passed zoning amendment 4-2021 which enacts several considerable changes for multifamily dwellings west of Jackson Street including: higher buildings,  higher density  of permissible  units per acre and the omission  of businesses within the Village Center Business District all at the discretion of the Planning Board.
