Kearsley Park Bowling Club was established in 1926 and has been a source of recreation and sport for many people in the local community.
The club consists of three vets bowling teams which are Kearsley Vets A, Kearsley Vets B and Kearsley Vets C. They are all members of the Farnworth & District Vets Bowling League. The A & B teams are in Section A and the C team is in Section B.
There is also an opden aged Night Team, Kearsley Park, that play in Section B of the Bolton Mills League, on a Wednesday night commencing at 1830 hrs.
League matches in the Vets league are on Tuesday and Thursday during the season which starts in April and ends in September. Other league competitions and club cup competions are held on other days throughout the season.
"Round Robin" style competitions are held each Sunday afternoon starting at 1.30pm. Anyone is welcome to come along and play.
There are a number of internal competitions held during the bowling season.
During the winter month the Club House is open on a Tueday (Short Mat), Wednesday (Dominoes),and Thursday (Whist), between 1pm and 4pm.
There are a number of qualified coaches in our ranks who are more than willing to assist new members with tuition.
We also have social members who don't bowl, but come along to socialise and attend functions and trips out.
We always welcome new members, why not come along.
