Learn about KCMO's lead abatement grant program which helps cover the cost of lead abatement, even including replacement windows if your property qualifes. We'll talk about the program, the requirements and how to apply.

Unit Registration for Rental Property Owners
Annual permit fee of $20 per unit
Example: First year:
An apartment complex with 10 units pays:
$20 One-time application fee
$200($20 x 10 units) permit fee with completed application = $220
Subsequent years the rental property owner would pay $200 for the 10 units
Please return the completed application with supporting documents prior to opening a new rental property or change of ownership or management. *

At the State level we are affiliated with a parent association in Jefferson City, the Missouri Apartment Association (MAA) which employs a full-time lobbyist to monitor and promote legislation affecting landlords .
