近況報告 (Recent Happenings)
2025年6月18日:リヨンに到着してAgodaで予約していたアパートメントの持ち主がチェックインの方法についての連絡をよこさなかったので、部屋がわからず、近所の住民の部屋に入れてもらい、持ち主を突き止めて電話してもらいました。結局この人の部屋には2時間以上いさせてもらいました。後日この方への感謝の一席を設けました。(Pierre, ありがとう!)
2025年4月11日:エチオピア南部Sidaama national regional stateで朝散歩していたところ、突然男に次から次へと石を投げつけられ、その一つが腰に当たりました。幸い軽傷ですみました。
2025年2月2日:ウガンダで早朝虫の大群を避けながら歩いていたところ、見知らぬ男に後ろから、後頭部下(顎、首)を殴られ、倒れて気を失いました。 すぐに立ち上がったので、何も取られずにすみました。顎関節症がひどくなったのと、首にあざができ、歯の一部が欠けた程度ですみました。打ちどころが良かったのか、それ以来仕事が捗っています。(5月にかけた歯が痛みだし神経を抜きました。)
2019年12月21日:ウガンダ東部のKapchorwaで停電で真っ暗の夜道を歩いていたところ道にあった深さ4メートルの穴に落ちました。 幸い雨水が溜まっていたので、胸まで水につかったものの軽傷で済みました。 何人も落ちている穴で亡くなった人もいるそうです。
2017年12月:運動不足解消のために夜にほろ酔いで近所をパトロールしている時に、慣れない歩きスマフォをして高円寺北公園の入り口の鉄の柵につまずいて転んで、別の鉄の柵に顔をぶつけ、前にエチオピアで転んで打った顔の部分とほぼ同じ部分を5針縫いました。 助けてくれた若者たち、どうもありがとうございますです。公園には一週間くらい大量の血の跡が残っていました。 そのあとに学会でオーストラリアに行ったのですが、所属が所属だっただけに、北朝鮮人に殴られたのではないかと聞かれました。
2017年7月18日:エチオピア南部Sidaama national regional stateで暗闇を歩いていたところ、溝(か座っていて突然出した誰かの足?)につまづいて石畳に顔を打ちました。
