About Me

My name is Katie Cox and I'm a graduate from Middlebury College with a double major in Elementary Education Studies and French. I had the opportunity to complete my student teaching semester in the spring of 2021 at Salisbury Community School in Salisbury, VT. I worked in a fourth grade classroom with twelve students, and designed a 5-week International Baccalaureate unit of inquiry on the trandisciplinary theme "Sharing the Planet." This website is designed to reflect my professional learning as a pre-service teacher. Looking forward, I intend to pursue a job in elementary education.
