December 2013 / January 2014

Greetings to Family, Friends & Fans of our Kathy,

Almost all of you know that Kathy, on December 21, 2012, suffered a brain bleed and was diagnosed with brain cancer. She had a remarkable journey through 2013, a enthusiastic 28 day surgical recovery in January, the decision against further chemotherapy in May, the hopeful “gamma knife” surgery in June with the great results, and tragically, a second stroke in August that lead to her passing on October 19th.

If you are just learning this news, our apologies that it took until this Christmas season. We hope this letter finds you in good health and that you are making time to enjoy family and friends throughout the holidays. As a family, we are focused on the joy that Kathy brought to our lives. Having you continue to be part of our lives means so much to us and helps us to keep Kathy's joy in our hearts.

As love leaves memories that no one can erase, each of us has memories of Kathy that we want to share and memorialize. Her unique impact on so many in her life has led to the creation of the

The Kathy Raynor Fund for Authenticity in Healthcare Excellence

Please see “The Fund” link above for details on how we will perpetuate her authentic approach in healthcare.

This site also contains letters and thoughts from Kathy’s journey in 2013 - her Personal Blog, her Obituary, the Eulogy that Jeff offered at her celebration of life/memorial service, and the good wishes from friends that were captured across the year. Additionally, we hope to collect “Kathy Stories” that still need to be told.

We are thankful for our family and all our friends. We are truly blessed, and are recognizing that more every day. We have learned that anything can happen and we shouldn't take anything for granted -- enjoying each moment in the moment.

Please help us continue to celebrate the unconditional love Kathy continues to share.

Merry Christmas and a blessed 2014! - Jeff, Cori & Chris
