Smart Gujarat for New India Hackathon 2017 Winner

We took part in the hackathon just to get the experience and test ourselves. We didn't aim to win but to provide a feasible solution for the problem statement so that we too can contribute to our society. But with immense support from our college and guidance from our mentor, our solution was deemed Worthy of the 1st place in our department-- AGRICULTURE, FARMERS WELFARE AND CO-OPERATION DEPARTMENT. We are really grateful for it. We would also like to extend our hearty thanks to organizing institutes who gave us much needed support during hackathons. Their support was crucial for our 1st place. Our Honourable Education Minister Shri Bhupendrasinhji Chudasama gave us the first prize at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University. His encouraging words boosted our confidence which helped us to secure overall second position at SMART GUJARAT FOR NEW INDIA HACKATHON. We were congratulated by our honourable Chief Minister Shri VIjaybhai Rupani, Honourable Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel and other cabinet ministers for our achievement. Even after winning, our aim is to implement the solution and make it available to everyone so that we can help in the betterment of the society.

Our Hackathon team who have been appreciated & awarded by Hon. Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani for suggesting an innovative software solution to the #Agriculture_Department of #Government of #Gujarat. The team was awarded with shield, certificates & 80,000 INR reward.
