I've always been interested in fiction, especially writing it. The ability to create entire fictional universes replete with spell-binding plots, fantastical creatures, and moral lessons are among the things that inspire to become a fiction writer. Greats like Stephen King, J.K. Rowling, J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, and Stephanie Meyer have always captivated my imagination with their ability to create worlds. So far I've dabbled in Horror, fantasy, science fiction, and mystery.
Below you'll see some of my works, not all of them are complete, however I think for the most part they are a good taste of my writing skills.
This is a very very short story that I wrote whilst still a student in High school. It's about a composer who writes a death inducing piece of music. It's decent, though perhaps a little underdeveloped.
The Computationist
This is my most ambitious work to date. It is about a precocious mathematician who discovers the equation to time travel through the help of otherworldly(extraterrestrial)beings-who,although appearing benevolent at first eventually reveal their rather sinister and malevolent agenda for humanity by the end of the novel. I'm only about 25 pages in and I hope to make it at least 1000 pages. It's a very Lovecraftian/Stephen King-esque work, since both H.P. Lovecraft and Stephen King write about cosmic alien beings who exert some control over the universe.
This is a short epistolary horror story I wrote in High school English class. It is essentially my interpretation of Hell. This is not intended to describe what the real Hell(if you believe in such a place) is actually like. If you want a description of that read the Bible. It is simply a creative piece that I had to write as a response to reading Dante's Inferno.
TRIGGER WARNING: There are some parts of this which may be perceived as disturbing for readers, I do not advise for people who are faint of heart, under the age of 18, or mentally ill to read this.
Read at your own discretion.
Another work I wrote for English. As the name implies, it is about a photographer, who um...encounters some rather bizarre supernatural things that interfere with his otherwise normal life.
This is another epistolary work I wrote shortly after graduating from high school. The protagonist is much like the main character in The Secret Equation, as both are incredibly gifted in the computational sciences. However, the plot differs greatly. As it remains in my "unfinished" works category, I hope to complete it soon.
This is a science fiction apocalyptic short story I wrote for a creative writing club I'm in. Basically it answers the question: "What would you do if you knew the world was ending in precisely one hour?" Before I get accused of being derivative, I am well aware of the fact that there are several movies centered around this very topic(A solar flare causing the end of the world), my take it on it I believe is quite different. I actually wrote the initially draft of this in 15 minutes by hand!
This is a stream-of conciousness type story centered around a plot involving sleep paralysis.
