Hospital Penthouse (elev), 1936

President's House Additions, 1933 (Study in NE corner)
Honorable mention goes to the Rackham Building which was designed by William E. Kapp, who had worked several years for Kahn. The external bas reliefs are by long-time Kahn collaborator Carrado Parducci. Of course the design is Kahn's type of Classical meets Art Deco, and many people assume Rackham is a Kahn building. U-M has a nice history here.

There is evidence that Kahn design the port of the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. (p 17)
Hill Auditorium's exterior "is a striking reinterpretation of Sullivan's National Farmer's Bank in Owatonna, MN"
the Clements is "a homage to the work of McKim, Mead, and White"
Angell Hall is "a tribute to his friend Henry Bacon's contemporaneous Lincoln Memorial"
In 1893 Kahn turned down an offer by Adler and Sullivan to fill the spot vacated by Frank Lloyd Wright. (all p.18)
