I primarily teach topics at the intersection of politics, philosophy and economics.

Contemporary Approaches to the Social Contract (Honours Course)

Covers topics in contemporary political philosophy such as Harsanyi's utilitarian theorems, experimental work on justice and social contract theory, game theory and justice, the relationship between social choice theory and democratic theory. Taught Term 1 of 2016 and 2017.

Puzzles in politics, philosophy and economics

Lower-division course aimed at first-year undergraduate students in the Politics, Philosophy and Economics program at ANU. Topics include social dilemmas, basics of social choice theory, and various topics in political philosophy (rights, freedom, welfarism, ethics and rationality of voting). Taught Term 2 of 2016 and 2017.

Formal epistemology

Six-week graduate seminar at ANU taught with Al Hajek and Hanti Lin. Covered basics of probability theory, decision theory and game theory (with applications to political philosophy and social epistemology). Taught 2015.

Contemporary political philosophy

Covers issues in social and distributive justice as well as select topics such as multiculturalism, democracy, power, republicanism, markets. Taught Term 2 of 2017.
