Lord Moser advised three Prime Ministers - Wilson, Health and Callaghan - on statistics and education and helped shape the huge growth of new universities in the 1960s. From a stateless intern imprisoned in Liverpool he became one of the Great and Good. He talked to Julian Champkin for Significance magazine.
