Ph.D. 2012, University of Missouri
M.S. 2007, Murray State University
B.S. 2003, Emory University
I’m an Associate Professor at Louisiana Tech University in the School of Biological Sciences. I completed postdocs with Sam Fuhlendorf at Oklahoma State University and at the National Institute for Mathematical and Biological Synthesis.
I am originally from Charlotte, NC and did my undergraduate at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and my masters at Murray State University in Kentucky (with Howard Whiteman). I received my doctorate in Biological Sciences in 2012 at the University of Missouri under the direction of Ray Semlitsch. My dissertation focused on the effects of leaves from forest on pond ecosystems and amphibians.
On a more personal side, I enjoy speding time with my family, cooking, hiking, and camping.
