I am a full professor of developmental psychology at the University of Padua, Italy, and a CNRS senior research scientist (directeur de recherche) at the Integartive Neuroscience and Cognition Center (CNRS & Université Paris Descartes), in Paris, France. I work on early speech perception and language acquisition. I use behavioral methods, optical brain imaging and electrophysiological measures to understand how babies learn their native language(s).
