Jason (Jay to most) is a writer, family man, and lover of logic and Monty Python. His natural enemies are the passive voice, adverbs, and cluttered language. You'll also never hear him use the phrase "outside of the box," which is the most inside-of-the-box way to describe creative thinking, ever.

Jason currently works as a Technical Writer and MadCap Flare  Designer for SiriusXM.  Currently, Jason maintains the host of UX documentation (Blueprints) that details five different SiriusXM products distributed among 30+ automotive partners.  When not overseeing Blueprint production, Jason assists with design reviews, Figma prototyping, and various editorial tasks for the UX and Product Teams.

A natural teacher with a love of both logic and creativity, Jason has extensive experience writing about unfamiliar topics using a combination of reading, experimentation, and interviews with subject-matter experts. 

Ceritifed in MadCap Flare (2024) and proficient in Figma, Jira, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Atlassian products, CMS management, and MS Office, Jason hopes to ascend to a leadership role within 3–5 years, or even finally getting around to writing that horror novel in his spare time.

He also plans to continue balding and collecting lightsabers, but feel free to keep that a secret.
