Basic Facts
I was born in August 1980 in Cheticamp, Nova Scotia, Canada.
I graduated high school in May 1998 from Lubbock High School in Lubbock, Texas.
I graduated in May 2003 from the University of Texas at Austin with a BSc in Physics with honors.
I defended my dissertation for my PhD in high-energy theoretical particle physics from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec in October 2008.
I abandoned theoretical physics to study the environmental and economic implications of climate change at the University of Chicago in September of 2008, and I couldn't be happier.
I am currently a research scientist and fellow at the Computation Institute at the University of Chicago and Argonne National Lab, where I pursue a variety of studies at the intersection of economics, computation, climate change, land-use, etc.
