Personal Philosophy of Nursing: Nursing is bound by a social contract with society to care for and improve the health of the public. It is our duty and privilege to care for every aspect of our patients. Furthermore, it is the duty of Nursing Educators to best prepare nursing students for the rigors of the profession and instill in them the core values of nursing.

This is a compilation of the experiences I have had and the products that I have created while in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program at The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing. These materials are organized by the 10 AACN Domains for Nursing Practice. Each domain has pages that contain products and a description of how they fulfill various competencies.

About Me: I am a Registered Nurse and Clinical Instructor with the University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing. My background is in Neurology and Adult Health. I have decided to further nurture my passion for educating nursing students by pursuing my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. By doing so, I share my advanced education through innovative techniques in order to break down the gap that exists between education and practice.
