You as the professional are at the heart of supervision. Your development, your dilemmas, your issues are the ground and anvil upon which your work is forged. I offer clinical supervision as the space to explore and reflect upon your practice. My experience includes teaching, training counsellors and child psychotherapists, clinical work, facilitating groups, and consultancy work within organisations. I supervise psychotherapists and counsellors working in private practice and in organisations, working with adults and young people.

Trained as a transpersonal psychotherapist at the CCPE - Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education - I now work from an integrative perspective. The integrative approach assumes that we humans have a "Unitive" nature, that our mind, body and spirit form an indivisible whole. Our work is to help clients find meaning, direction and balance in order to lead fulfilling lives - i.e. a humanistic approach. I have a diploma in clinical supervision from CPPD. I have supervised in a child bereavement service, EACH a drug and alcohol service and the West London Counselling Centre. I have also supervised for the BusStop service in Milton Keynes, a group of counsellors privately, and for training organisations like Metanoia and IATE. Until July 2016 I was a school psychotherapist and the clinical manager for Bedford Open Door Counselling Service for Young People. I am currently the Welfare Officer responsible for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults at Ilfracombe Tennis Club.

Supervision is a safe place to develop your career, your practice and your work in the counselling, psychotherapy, or related fields. Reflecting upon your work with clients, bringing difficult cases, looking at legal and ethical issues like boundaries and confidentiality can give reassurance that you are practising safely and ethically.

Supervision is a collaborative process where we can look together at technique, theory, looking-after-yourself, and your personal development as well as your day-to-day work with clients.

Fees: - I charge £45 per hour.
