Course Catalog Description:
Introduction to purposes and methods of scientific inquiry. Philosophy of science, research design, use of biological literature sources, fundamental laboratory techniques, statistical analysis, and survey of careers in biology. Laboratory work involves designing, performing, and reporting on research projects.
