I have enjoyed playing with this tech over the years. LOR allows you to synchronize various lights to music, and is one of the main products used to create Christmas light shows. I am currently controlling 56 channels (2 @ 1602W controllers and a CMB24D digital controller). The controllers are networkable, using a RS485-type of communication. The Sequencer software allows you to work at the .1 second interval, which seems to be fast enough to put events where needed. A host of scheduling, showbuilding, and troubleshooting software comes with the package.
Two projects that I’ve had the pleasure of completing are a WIFI LED Messageboard and a 24 channel RGB 5050 LED Tree. I've been slowly replacing some stuff with LED lights, and just purchased a 400LED Tree, each RGB LED fully addressable.. lots of fun.
Below are some of the sequences that I’ve built. Joy, by Apollo 100, was based on a MONO song released in the 70’s. I used Wavosaur to process this song into a synthesized stereo version. The video was created with AVIDemux, and does a good job of converting my 720P HDMI camera files to MP4.
Some Samples of the show, updated in 2021 for the new tree and star.

Around 2015, the local children started leaving awards in my lawn. Some of their handiwork is below
In 2016, I won First Place!
I also received a very nice letter from their parents, thanking me for displaying these awards prominently.
Must've been the star that I added. I'm Very Honored to receive these Awards!
In 2020, I won First Place from the Local Community Judges for Best Out of Box Presentation! How about that?
