I am an economist with over 15 years of research and evaluation experience. I began my career as an Associate Professor of Economics at CERDI, where I focused on climate and development economics, before moving into applied research and evaluation.
I then joined Mathematica, first as Director of Research for its Europe and Africa subsidiary, where I led a team conducting research and impact evaluations across climate, agriculture, education, health, energy, and infrastructure. Later, as part of Mathematica’s Climate Change Unit, I focused on resilience, adaptation, and mitigation.
I am passionate about data and the challenges of measurement—particularly in understanding the impacts of interventions, the diffusion of innovations, and the complex pathways that lead to lasting, population-level change. Currently, I am a Research Fellow at CERDI and at the Chair Energy & Prosperity, and I work as a consultant, providing research, evaluation, and learning services to organisations seeking to measure and amplify the impact of research and policies in the fields of technology, AI, climate, and international development.
