Johan Markdahl - Postdoctoral researcher
Brief bio
Johan Markdahl received the M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics and Ph.D. degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2010 and 2015 respectively. During 2010 he worked as a research and development engineer at Volvo Construction Equipment in Eskilstuna, Sweden. From 2016 to 2021 he was a postdoctoral researcher in the Systems Control Group at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine, University of Luxembourg in Belval, Luxembourg.
Research interests (dynamical systems and control theory)
Synchronization on nonlinear spaces (e.g. almost global consensus on the n-sphere)
Rigid-body attitude control (a control law that decouples the full and reduced attitude)
Cooperative manipulation (using a multi-agent systems approach)
Traction control for articulated haulers (industry work for Volvo CE)
