This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Joey for Reddit (“Application”, "app"). "We","us","our" refers to the creator(s) of the app.
How is login to Reddit done?
Login to Reddit is done with WebView. The password is sent directly to Reddit servers for authentication and is never seen by us. Reddit then returns token which is used to access Reddit on your behalf.
The token is stored locally on your device.
In case of breach or otherwise, you can revoke the token from the Reddit website.
Can I use the app on rooted device?
You should not use the app on rooted device.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
Some services used by the app process your data to provide their service.
Service: Firebase Remote Config, https://firebase.google.com/products/remote-config/
Data: Firebase Instance ID. Instance IDs identify individual installations of an app. Since each Instance ID is unique to a particular app and device, they give Firebase services a way to refer to specific app instances.
How data helps provide the service: Remote Config uses Instance IDs to select configuration values to return to end-user devices.
Deletion: You can request deletion of your Firebase Instance ID and all data associated with it from the settings of the app.
