João Pereira dos Santos

I am a PhD student in Economics at Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon.

I was a visiting student at Harvard University during the spring semester of 2019.

I recently participated in the Advanced Studies Program in International Economic Policy Research of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy. I hold a MSc in Economics from Nova SBE and I completed a Seminar in European Studies at the European Parliament in Portugal.

My research interests include Political and Public Economics, Urban and International Economics, and Economic History.

My favourite methodologies are Microeconometrics (especially Policy Evaluation techniques), and Behavioral (Experimental) Economics.

I am the Honorary President of Nova Economics Club and the main responsible for Economia Viva.
