There are many John Pollard`s to be found on the web, but fewer with my middle initial M. This one is a retired mathematician living in the village of Tidmarsh (near Reading, Berks, UK). This site is about Number Theory (a branch of mathematics), music (especially recorders) and chess, but also contains local information, mainly about Tidmarsh.
