There are many John Pollard`s to be found on the web, but fewer with my middle initial M. This one is a retired mathematician living the village of Tidmarsh (near Reading, Berks, UK).   This site is about Number Theory (a branch of mathematics), music (especially recorders), chess and Tidmarsh.
