Dr. Jing Chen is an Associate Professor and Director of the Human-Automation Collaboration Lab in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Rice University. She received her Ph.D. in Cognitive Psychology and her M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in 2015, working with Dr. Robert W. Proctor.
Dr. Chen's research interests focus on investigating the fundamental principles of human performance and decision-making, and applying these principles to human-automation and human-AI interaction problems.
