Brian, Don, Sylvia, Greg and Dave started and continue to get info from New and Jimsmith Lakes using boats and specialized equipment that measures the quality of the water at different depths.
New Lake is 9.8 M deep and Jimsmith is 8.3 M deep at the reference points; if you want more data contact Brian.

The Jimsmith Lake Community Association received funding for a Sensitive Habitat Inventory Mapping project on Jimsmith Lake. This is phase two of a project that will result in Foreshore Management Guidelines for the lake.
Thank you Brian for your hard work on raising the money and continued effort for this needed project.
