BC Lake Stewardship Society — The BCLSS is assisting its member lake groups to conduct scientific water quality monitoring of the lakes they represent. This is a great concept that enables volunteers to gather scientifically significant data to help protecting waters and lakes in BC.

City of Cranbrook — For information and statistics about the City, a history of Cranbrook and the region and links to current City Departments.

Columbia Basin Watershed Network — Assists local watershed groups by providing information and educational resources.  They also function as a central meeting point to collaborate on ideas and ultimately function as a larger unified body.

East Kootenay Invasive Plants — To coordinate the management of invasive plants on public and private lands in the East Kootenay Region.

Inaturalist link to or watershed — 'Jimsmith Lake & Creek Watershed' is a new citizen science project developed by the Jimsmith Lake Community Association to inspire local residents and visitors alike to explore and capture sightings of biodiversity within the Jimsmith Lake & Creek watershed of southeastern British Columbia.

Stewardship Reports - Jimsmith & New Lake — Created with help from our JLCA volunteers and BC Lake Sterwardship Society

Moyie Mountain Snow Pack — Shows snow pack levels in the East Kootenay's; 2C10P - Moyie Mountain would be the closest to Jimsmith Lake watershed for comparison purposes.

Nature Watch — Do you like to explore and examine the natural world? Want to be a citizen scientist? Are you interested in joining researchers and nature enthusiasts from across Canada in tracking rapid changes in our natural environment?

Pacific Streamkeepers Federation — •Provide an information exchange for streamkeeper and enhancement groups;  •Help co-ordinate streamkeeper and enhancement efforts,  •Lend a larger voice to streamkeeper and enhancement issues,  •Facilitate training for streamkeeper and enhancement groups;  •Help like-minded groups get started,  •Provide support for existing streamkeeper and enhancement groups;  •Foster co-operation amongst watershed stakeholders,  •Promote local management of aquatic resources

Regional District of East Kootenay — Regional districts provide rural residents with an effective form of local government while also representing municipal residents on regional issues.
