About

Welcome to my web page!

I am an economist at the International Monetary Fund. My current research is in the areas of big data, machine learning, climate change, economic diversification, inequality, and the Chinese Economy. Recently, my work involves using satellite-recorded nighttime lights data to analyze economic performance in regions where official statistics are limited. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics from the Johns Hopkins University. Prior to my Ph.D. study, I competed my bachelor's degree in Mathematics at Tsinghua University and a double degree in Economics at Peking University.
