metamaterial - beam steering

In optics, a prism is a transparent optical element with flat, polished surfaces that refract light. At least two of the flat surfaces must have an angle between them. The exact angles between the surfaces depend on the application.

Here we apply this concept into the acoustic metamaterials. And the adaptiveness of piezoelectric metamaterial is emphasized for beam steering

Local resonance of LC resonance can change the acoustic wave velocity

Adjust the system parameters can effectively change the direction of wave propagation.
